Anicca's bio

In the world of custom Chuppa makers, Anicca has an exciting and unusual resume.

A daughter of Holocaust refugees, she was born in Warsaw, Poland 1956.
After completing her degree in flute playing and Electro Acoustical composition at Tel Aviv University’s Music Academy, she began to explore an unknown world of creation: three boys, music, kites, flags and banners, sculptures (airborne and on the ground), poetry, paintings, chuppot ...

Prof. Abraham Yaski, a well known Architect in Israel and worldwide – with whom she worked with on a few projects - wrote in 2003:

“Anicca is an artist gifted with extraordinary creative abilities. As a musician by education she composes sound, color, form and material into events and objects that turn out to be very esthetic, sensual, vibrating and exciting.
She first became known as a kite artist, flying her kites in the different skies of the world. Equally, Anicca was involved in exploring the possibilities of placing her beautiful works of art in large interior spaces of public buildings, and indeed sculptures created by her are to be found in malls, hospitals and hotels throughout Israel.
In the last three years Anicca has concentrated mainly on painting, which is characterized by imagination, fantasy, colorfulness and above all by plenty of joy.
You can not just pass by her works of art and ignore them. Each painting is a special event, penetrating your heart, body and soul. The closer you get to them the more you discover, more secrets, more hidden light.
Anicca's art is neither abstract, nor symbolic nor political. It is neither story telling nor realistic, it is altogether an event of composition, color, light and magic.”

Professor A.Yasky, P.I.

"My Jewish being is growing and evolving the more I’m exposed to the keys of my ancestor’s Jewish esoteric knowledge.
To create a chuppa or a painting with a religious, objective meaning is an exciting adventure that takes me and every one around me to high moments of an open heart.
A painted blessing is my emotional way to feel close to you.
Making chuppot is continuing to paint but on a different scale. A chuppa or a valued painting has to give his owner his ultimate truth no matter when he looks at it. That’s a challenge. To help the couple realize their vision and love.
It’s the first time I actually belong to Judaica. And it’s a joyful journey.
During “shlach lachmecha” I met Enya and Tali who invited me to share this wonderful site. Mature, beautiful, talented women of valour."

We are all happy to host you and invite you to bring us your light. Help us continue to devote our self to the will of the beloved. To bring you happy moments of presence with high impressions of original art made by us.
